Delta Airlines provides three credit cards that offer many benefits for Delta Airline customers such as complimentary checked baggage and numerous frequent flier miles. These cards are all issued by American Express.
It’s difficult to choose the best Delta credit card because the cards are all priced differently and each fills different customer requirements. The highest recommendation goes to the Delta Gold SkyMiles credit card. This credit card waives the annual fee the first year and a low annual fee thereafter.
If you weigh the benefits and the costs of each credit card most people would probably prefer the Delta Gold SkyMiles credit card, as opposed to the Delta Reserve credit or the Platinum Delta SkyMiles credit card. It should be noted that all three cards are traditional credit cards that are accepted anywhere that American Express credit cards are accepted, and aren’t simply charge cards such as the renowned green American Express credit card.
It should also be noted that all three cards have no limit on the number of miles that you can earn, no expiration date on those miles, no restrictions, and no blackout dates. Here are the biggest differences between the three cards.
The Delta Gold SkyMiles has one major difference from the Delta Reserve or the Platinum credit cards. That difference is that there is an annual fee of $95 that is waived the first year. Although some of the benefits may not be as good as the other two credit cards, that difference, in addition to a much lower annual fee the second year and the following years might make a difference to some cardholders.
